Grilled Camembert Cheese
What You’ll Need
1 wheel of Camembert or Brie Cheese
1/4 cup broken walnut bits
2 Tbsp liquid honey
Sliced fruit (apples, pears, nectarines, peaches, etc)
French baguette, sliced
How to Make it
-Heat your BBQ or grill pan to medium high heat
-In the meantime, also preheat your over (if using grill pan) to 415 degrees
-Place your wheel of cheese directly onto the grill, without moving for a few minutes to create grill marks
-Rotate 45 degrees to create a checkered effect
-Flip wheel gently to create marks on other side
-Once grilled, carefully transfer cheese to a piece of foil and if using BBQ, take off the direct heat and let the insides get gooey….if using oven, place on foil and on a sheet pan to put in the oven for 10 minutes
-While your cheese gets melty, place your sliced baguette on the grill to toast up, this should only take about a minute per side
-Remove cheese from oven and keep on foil to present.
-Top with walnuts and a drizzle of honey
-Serve hot with your fruit and bread, enjoy!
